Jack o’ Lantern Spooktacular!

Last weekend, we celebrated Halloween with our Jack o’ Lantern Spooktacular Popup Market! Thank you to everyone who cam along and made it such a special day.

We had brilliant live music from the local Ceilidh band Ramshackle, gorgeous river and naturey music from Daughter of the Water, and even a performance from a budding (very) young local singer. Lots of dancing was done and lots of fun was had!

We also had pumpkin carving, run by local artist and champion pumpkin carver, Nick Hayes. There was a pumpkin carving competition – with some amazing pumpkins! We had pumpkin painting too.

There were some wonderful stalls selling lovely homemade food made with our beautiful stock-free vegetables.

There was soup, with pesto and cheese and yummy bread; jacket potatoes and a pumpkin stew. We also had plenty of yummy cakes and drinks – including the marvellous Pumpkin Latte.

There was also a stall from Hardwick’s Hempen.

The day was made all the merrier by everyone’s fantastic outfits and fantastic spooky painted faces!

If you missed out on our seasonal popup market this time, never fear! We will be having a Christmas Market on the 10th December. Put the date in your diaries!
