Farm Walks
Visit the farm 2026
Come and visit the farm, and learn about organic horticulture, stock free farming, fertility building herbal leys, and much more. Farm walks are an excellent opportunity to gain a practical understanding of food and farming systems, learn about our unique practices, and ask questions directly. We have cultivated a balanced and beautiful relationship between nature and food, and want to share what we have learned with you.
Farm tours include
- Field scale vegetables on 17 acres, an intensive rotation with widespread use of long and short-term green manures.
- Victorian walled garden comprising 2 acres of intensive vegetable production, green manures and own produced composts.
- Out-of-season production in 17,000 square feet of polytunnels and glasshouses, utilising our own woodchip compost.
- Propagation facilities in our dedicated greenhouse producing over 75,000 plants per year.
- Agroforestry systems within a horticulture unit
- Direct marketing. All our produce is sold through our own box scheme, farm shop, markets and local retail outlets.
- Vegetable & woodchip composting for small and large scale users.
Farm walks usually last around 3.5 hours, teas and coffees are provided. Please bring a picnic lunch to enjoy in the garden after the tour.
