It comes as an acknowledgement of our constant efforts to increase biodiversity and soil health at the farm in an ethical and sustainable way, whilst caring for the local community and providing families with healthy wholesome local food.
Tolhurst Organic applies the Stockfree Organic farming system and in 2007 we were the first farm in the world to be certified as such by the Soil Association
We always support and promote the Stockfree Organic standard, which is a professional and fully traceable system of farming and food growing.
More and more farmers and growers in the UK adhere to the Stockfree Organic standard.
We believe stockfree organic farming represents one of the best solutions for a greener and climate-friendlier agriculture.
