NEW CHANGES for our Box Scheme customers
Dear Box Scheme Customers
after long discussions within our team and with your positive feedback in the recent survey, we are going ahead with the idea of developing further our Box Scheme with a professional internet-based order management system.
The system is called Ooooby (Out Of Our Own Back Yards) and it was set up specifically to cater for small box schemes around the country and the world, indeed.
You can have a look at their portal on www.ooooby.org
Lots of UK-based small organic growers and our friends have subscribed to this system and we are confident that it will bring a welcome change to all customers, with a friendly interface, an easy navigation menu for you to choose your favourites, and a payment system designed to save your time. And ours.
Zoe and I are in the process of setting up our own hub on Ooooby and we will be inviting you to set up your private accounts there for future orders.
We hope to be ready and launch the system in June. Hopefully by then we will be offering delicious strawberries and other goodies from the farm and the dreadful ”hungry gap” will be near to the end.
You will be able to follow your usual ordering routine, which may be weekly or fortnightly, and choose bread options and Extras upon availability. Our own organic flowers will also feature in season.
In the meantime, we are continuing to receive orders the old way.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please do not hesitate emailing us or message us on our FB page Tolhurst Organic.
Good Luck to us all!

Are you plastic free?
I am looking for locally sourced, organically grown, plastic free, good quality, mud free, reasonably priced food. I can find suppliers who comply with some of these but none that tick all the boxes.
With regards to price I am prepared to pay a premium but in the past I have used organic veg box schemes with prices of some fruit or veg more than twice what I pay in a supermarket.
