Dear Box Scheme Customers
We are writing to inform you that after our annual price review, in light with the 2021 national minimum wage, changes to wholesale bought-in produce and new packaging requirements, it has been decided to add an incremental increase to our Box Scheme prices, to an average of 7.5%, as below, with effect from 1 August 2021.
This is our first price adjustment in 18 months and it is important for us to increase business resilience and best service quality to our customers.

This increase will allow us to pay the wages of our staff in time. The hard work and dedication proven by staff at Tolhurst Organic commends even higher wages than we are able to offer, however we are aware of our customers’ options and competition around, thus only can make very small price changes.
At this time we are not changing prices for bread, as these are set and depend on our suppliers’ prices.
