We made some more chilli sauce (this time Medium strength), pasta sauce and Passata under our new brand Clover Preserves. Available at the Veg Stall in the field and as Extra for Box Scheme customers.
We freeze the main ingredients – tomato pulp, red peppers and basil. Everything else we can use from fresh, and our sauces have that very “home-made” flavour and texture. Every batch tastes slightly different, but this is what you get with home-made preserves.
