After a very successful kick-start in 2017, we have developped a year-long programme of events for beginner and more experienced gardeners, cooks and food-lovers who want to develop their skills in organic, sustainable gardening techniques and delicious, healthy cooking.
Each workshop will explore and develop food-related skills – from plantng a vegetable garden to harvesting and preserving your produce.
Workshops are designed as a stand-alone unit, so you can come to one or to all of them!
All workshops will take place on Saturdays, 10am – 4pm, at the Walled Garden Packing Shed on Hardwick Estate.
Cost varies from £70/person for gardening courses and £85/person for cookery courses.
We may be able to offer a number of discounted places for young growers and those on low income. 10% discount for second and subsequent workshops.
We also offer Gift Vouchers valid for any workshops, should you wish to give one as a gif and let the recipient choose their own date and topic.
All workshops include a home grown, vegetarian or vegan lunch and some take-home goodies where relevant (e.g. a dish or a plant).
