One book, one festival and one Brexit down…

It’s only a few months since we sent the last Onion Oracle. A good excuse is that in the meantime we have produced a book. 280 pages in total, so that’s enough to keep one busy. It is actually a compilation of most articles written for this newsletter since its inception in 1995 and so it should make interesting reading to our customers. Keen gardeners and professional growers will find practical growing advice and the artistic eyes will be delighted with the 40+ specially produced illustrations based on farm pictures from 40 years ago. Read more below.
The Strawberry Fayre in June was all about vintage this year, great success, too and you can see a photo report by Eva Nemeth at the end of this Newsletter. Our good friend and neighbour Nick Brazil produced a short video, which is posted on our FB page
And then Brexit… It threw us in a state of shock for a while, the referendum results I mean, but it is early to say how this will affect our business. We share the views of our certification body Soil Association and share concerns with our research partners, the Organic Research Centre. Other than that, we will continue to provide the best quality possible and hope that our customer base will be growing and supporting us in our endeavours.
